Below are the meeting minutes. Thanks to everyone that came to the meeting
Thursday. I am incredibly happy about how hard all of you are working :)
Thanks so much!!
Please make sure to read over all of what is going on. *If you weren't able
to attend the meeting but would still like to work on something for next
week, PLEASE let me know!!* There is soooo much coming up within the next 3
weeks that we need as much help as possible. We will hold our next meeting
next *Thursday again at 5:30pm in the basement of the YMCA! *

- *The logo is almost done!* She's finalizing some details on the
computer drawing she's doing and its gunna look GREAT! *THINK OF
CATCHY T-SHIRT SLOGAN! *and email it to me: ccarrol2@uiuc.edu thanks!!
- *WE NEED FUNDS!! Please think of fundraising ideas and email them to
me because to buy shirts, we need $$$.*

- The Sustainable Concert which we are co-sponsoring is on November
1st, therefore our *first CORE kickoff with multiple groups will be on
October 28th!*
- Visit the SECS website: http://secs-uiuc.org/
- Sign up for IHelp!! It is on Oct 13th, and they have a bunch of
environmental projects to participate in! Go to the IHelp website, look for
SECS and sign up under Mara Eisenstein. If you have any questions, email

- *KEGGER NEXT THURSDAY NIGHT!!!* 9pm, 3rd and Armory (1006 S. Third),
Apt 19, BE THERE!! There will be food, beer, pop, special juice, and great
memories to be made :)
- Sign up for dinner announcements with Mara! They will take place on
Oct 15th at 5pm. We will be going to each house, saying about a 1-2 minute
blurb on us, leaving a flyer, then going to the next house! Its really
actually painless and fun, so email meisens2@uiuc.edu if you want to
participate!

- *GREEK PILOT PROJECT -* Nov. 5th - Nov. 16th **** NEW **** email ccarrol2@uiuc.edu
with any immediate questions
- Pair up a fraternity and sorority, recycle for two weeks, each
pair has a "coach" from our group that will take down data
- Each house will have to provide drop off transportation and
garbage bins - motivation for future recycling?
- Points system for how much recycled material/pounds/type of
material
- We will have full access to recycling facilities thanks to Tim
Hoss
- Winning team gets a party? - WE NEED FUNDS!!!
*Letter/e-mail to Greek System/Recycling Reps.*
- Research statistics of energy saved by recycling and COOL TIPS on energy-saving!
- Confirm Greek Participation through email contacts
- "The GR��N-HOUSE Award" <--- cool name for the Greek award!
