Committees
SECS has several committees:
Recycling - Runs a battery and inkjet recycling program through the Illini Union and is working to pass recycling for apartments in Champaign
Composting - Composts Allen Hall food waste, and is working to expand to other dorms.
Campaign - Runs the logistics of our environmental campaigns. This is heavily focused on publicity and recruitment as well
Live Green // Earth Day - Plans out the Fall and Spring semester environmental awareness weeks.
Education - Focused on spreading the word on how to live more sustainably.
Social/Event - Plans social events such as movies, camping, and more.
Fundraising - Runs the Bike Tune-Up events held in both the Fall and Spring. Also organizes a fundraising event every year that raises money for an Environmental organization.
